Fresno DUI Hit-and-Run Damages Four Parked Cars
Police in Fresno detained a driver Saturday evening after a suspected DUI crash damaged several parked vehicles in a residential area.
What Happened
Officers responded to reports of a crash near Thomas Avenue and First Street on February 21, 2026. Witnesses reported a vehicle striking parked cars before coming to a stop further down the street.
Four Vehicles Hit
During the investigation, police determined that the driver struck four unoccupied parked vehicles along nearby blocks. Fortunately, no injuries were reported because the vehicles were empty at the time.
DUI Investigation
Officers contacted the driver and conducted a DUI investigation. Authorities said the driver was over the legal blood alcohol limit. Police cited the individual at the scene and later released them to family members.
