Sub Shop Sandwich, #1 Ham, Salami & Pepperoni Review
I first had Sub Shop many years ago when I was still a teenager. I remember feeling it was so much greater than a subway sandwich(and bigger). This was during the time I was living in Merced and traveling to Atwater more regularly. I moved to Newman and it became years before I stepped back inside of the delicious Sub Shop!
When I finally made my way into the Sub Shop, I decided I was going to start with their number #1 and try a new one each time I came back. I can honestly say as soon as I bit into it, I remember thinking the same thought I had when I was younger, (way better than Subway).
My favorite thing about Sub Shop is 2 things.
First it’s the fresh ingredients they use. All my veggies and meats were astonishingly fresh and flavorful.
Next, and my favorite is the portion. I am usually capable of eating a sizable portion and when it comes to sandwiches, Subway’s footlong doesn’t cut it. Sub Shop’s half-sizes are about the size of a Subway footlong and their full-size-sandwich (which is about the same price as a Subway footlong) is much bigger!
