Five dogs linked to a nearby residence were quarantined.

Sacramento April Rain Totals Stand Out

April has been unusually wet for Sacramento.

KCRA reports that Sacramento Executive Airport recorded 3.43 inches of rain this month. That made April 2026 the fourth-wettest April on record at that location, where records date back to 1941.

The same report said Stockton and Modesto were both above 100 percent of normal for the water year to date.

The late-season rain may help water totals. However, unsettled weather can also affect travel, outdoor plans, and cleanup across parts of the region.

Arias said the restaurant would be open over the weekend.
