Modesto, Ca. — There has been an arrest made, Thursday 22, September 2022. This was after one person was found dead, and another left in serious condition, following a shooting in Modesto.
A bit before noon, Modesto Police responded to reports of a shooting in the area of Orangeburg and McHenry. When the police arrived at the scene, a man was found with a gunshot wound by Pep Boys.
The police pronounced the man dead at the scene and shortly after, Modesto PD realized a second victim had been shot and took themselves to the hospital and are in critical condition.

Near the crime scene, officers found, Thijay Juarez, 24. Thijay Juarez, of Modesto, was charged with attempted murder and committing a felony while he was out on bail facing other charges.
