Ceres Man Shot During Home Invasion, Say’s Sheriff’s Office

Man killed after being shot during a home invasion in Ceres, according to to report released by Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department.

Ceres, Ca. —  Man killed after being shot during a home invasion in Ceres, according to to report released by Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department.

Today, September 27th 2022, at around 6 in the morning, officers responded to a call of a possible home invasion that involved a man that was shot.  Deputies started life-saving actions and once the ambulance arrived, he was taken to the hospital.

Though the sheriff did not have any info on the man’s condition, relatives explained what happened.  They mention being awoken by “a loud commotion and unfamiliar subjects involving guns in the house,” according to a press release by the Sheriff’s Department.

After the shooting the attackers fled the scene and there was no description of any suspect or possible escape vehicle.
